"I’m a SWF with 1 car I rarely drive because I’m remote. Progressive increased my rate $100 to $300/month this last renewal which is, insane. I went back to USAA;, which was previously the more expensive one, but they now have policies based on how much you drive But that was still 250 to 320 range depending on mileage. So I plugged my name into one of those sites on the Internet that searches for you, which was a huge mistake because everyone and their mother was calling me from companies I’ve never heard of. One day I accidentally picked up the phone and it happened to be State Farm, So I figured why not. I never usually go direct agents because I like the flexibility of building my own policies online I used to sell insurance back in the day so I already know what I’m looking for Never really saw a benefit. OMFG. They quoted me 125 a month that’s with lower deductibles and higher liability limits. Seriously?? I was ecstatic and mad at the same time for not looking into this sooner. I cannot recommend them enough. They were so nice and even called a month or 2 in to make sure all was good and if I had any questions. Just like the jingle “like a good neighbor” Just get a quote, it’s worth it. If they can’t beat your rate OK, but if they can?? You can’t afford not to find out."
